In The Library Fish, Library Fish is a goldfish who mysteriously appears in a fishbowl left outside the library with a note saying she “loves stories.” Mr. Hughes, the librarian, welcomes her to live on the desk and Library Fish becomes enchanted by all the goings-on in the library: patrons browsing books, story time, the bookmobile, and even imaginary adventures sparked by the books she hears. But one snowy day, the library can’t open, and Library Fish won’t settle for silence—she must find a way to continue exploring the magic of stories, even outside her bowl.
